Today, I want to share a small glimpse of my experience at the 2024 Polenta & Deploy event!

Polenta&Deploy is an event taking place nestled beneath the mountains at Pinzolo. Over the course of three days, developers (and others) come together to enjoy the fresh air and discuss about tech (and not only that…) in an open space setup.

Today I’m writing a summary of my experience at the Italian Agile Days 2023.

I already wrote about the 2022 edition here and, just like last time, I’m writing this summary 2 months after the event…but let’s not worry about this short delay.

This year, the event was organised at the Politecnico di Milano campus. I graduated there about 4 years ago, so it was a great occasion to return there! I got to see how the campus changed, and I met some old friends (at NECSTLab) who stayed for their PhD.

On October 19-21, I attended the SoCraTes (un)conference in Rimini. With over 90 people, we gathered to talk about software crafting, testing, and all related (and unrelated) stuff 😛.

The event was fantastic! I met a lot of new people, gained insights into my current and future learning, and had some interesting (and crazy) discussions (such as discovering the niche of custom keyboards and firmware 🤩)!!!

Today I just want to share some comments about my trip to FOSDEM 2023. This blog is starting to look like a travel blog for meetups and conferences 😅… I promise I’ll post some programming (practical and not) content soon.

As I already said in my 2022 review, one of my goals for 2023 is to attend more conferences and participate more in communities. I must say, I started the year in the right way 🤩.
